  1. FREE Library Passes

Many regional libraries are in possession of passes which you, as a library card holder, can reserve in advance for FREE. Each pass may cover different attractions and comes with its own criteria for use. You can check out FREE Exploration Passes from Arapahoe LibrariesFREE Culture Passes from the Jefferson County Libraries, FREE Adventure Passes from the Douglas County or Westminster Libraries, FREE Culture and Adventure Passes from Aurora Public Libraries, FREE Discovery Passes from Longmont Public LibraryFREE Museum Passes from Denver Public Libraries, and FREE Seven Day State Park Passes available at many libraries statewide. These all require a library card (available to Colorado residents) and advance reservation.

  2. SCFD FREE Days

This is a popular way to enjoy FREE admission at many museums and cultural institutions. These days may happen sporadically (the next SCFD FREE day for the Denver Zoo is in November!) and may often be overcrowded. My recommendation is to arrive at opening before a large crowd sets in.

  3. EBT Admission

Did you know that Colorado EBT/SNAP recipients can receive $1 admission per person (up to TEN people total) to select museum and cultural institutions in Denver? This offer is available to residents of all Colorado counties. The attractions included in this offer are the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marco CampusDenver Museum of Nature and ScienceDenver Zoo, and the History Colorado Center. How to take advantage of this offer? Show your Colorado EBT card at the ticketing area to gain admittance. The admission fee may not be paid with an EBT card and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

  4. Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, U.S. Trust FREE Days

Credit and debit cardholders receive FREE admission to over 200 participating institutions nationwide on the first full weekend of every month. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. This offer excludes special exhibitions, ticketed shows and fundraising events. In Colorado the Clyfford Still Museum, Denver Art Museum (Sundays only), Denver Botanic Gardens, and Denver Museum of Nature & Science are participants! CLICK HERE for all participating locations nationwide.
